Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information.
Effective Date: September 3, 2026 · Last Updated: September 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Mom Brain Collective LLC, doing business as RepReach ("we," "our," "the Company"), collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the RepReach mobile application and the repreach.app website (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
About RepReach
RepReach is a civic engagement app that helps you find your elected representatives, generates personalized communication templates for contacting them, tracks legislation, and provides voting information. We collect only what is necessary to operate these features, and we do not sell your personal information.
Definitions
- App refers to the RepReach mobile application.
- Website refers to repreach.app.
- Company refers to Mom Brain Collective LLC, doing business as RepReach, based in Washington, United States.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Government Platform means any external government website or system (such as Regulations.gov) that the Service links to or facilitates submissions to.
- Service Provider means a third-party company engaged by us to support the Service's operation (e.g., our database host).
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly (App)
- First name — used to personalize your experience within the App.
- ZIP code, and in some cases a full street address — used to identify your federal and state representatives. A full address is only requested when ZIP-level lookup isn't precise enough to determine your exact legislative district (common in areas where multiple districts share a ZIP code); it is sent to our geocoding provider (Geocodio) solely for that purpose and is not stored on our servers beyond what's needed to return your district match.
- Notification preferences — whether notifications are enabled, frequency, and preferred times.
- Comment or message content, if you choose to draft or submit a public comment on proposed federal regulations through the App (see "Public Comment Submissions" below).
Information you provide directly (Website)
- Email address, if you join the Founding Club waitlist or otherwise sign up for updates. Used only to notify you about app launch status and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Information we do not collect
- We do not use cookies, third-party advertising trackers, or behavioral analytics on the App.
- We do not collect precise location via device GPS — location-relevant features rely on the ZIP code or address you type in.
- We do not require account creation or collect passwords; there is no login system.
How Your Information Is Stored
Some information (such as your name and notification preferences) is stored locally on your device. Other information — including cached representative data, your tracked bills, and voting information — is stored using Supabase, a third-party database infrastructure provider, to make the App fast and reliable across sessions. We do not sell, rent, or provide third-party marketing access to any information stored in this way.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Identify your elected representatives based on your ZIP code or address
- Generate personalized call/email scripts and legislative content relevant to your location
- Track bills you've chosen to follow
- Send you notifications at your preferred times, if enabled
- Display your first name within the App
- Communicate with you about the App if you've joined our waitlist (Website only)
We do not use your information for advertising, do not build advertising profiles, and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the following third parties to function. Each has its own privacy practices governing data sent to them:
- Congress.gov — federal bill and legislator data. Queries are typically limited to bill/topic identifiers, not personal information.
- OpenStates — state-level bill and legislator data, queried by ZIP code or district.
- Regulations.gov — federal rulemaking dockets and, if you choose to submit one, your public comment. See "Public Comment Submissions" below. Review the Regulations.gov Privacy Notice.
- Geocodio — converts your ZIP code or address into a precise legislative district match. Review Geocodio's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — our database infrastructure provider, used to store cached civic data and your in-app preferences. Review Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Apple — processes all subscription payments through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card information; Apple provides us only subscription status (active/expired) needed to unlock paid features.
We do not share your name, address, or notification preferences with these providers beyond what's minimally necessary for each to perform its function (e.g., only your address goes to Geocodio; only comment content goes to Regulations.gov if you submit one).
Public Comment Submissions
If you use RepReach to draft and submit a comment on a federal regulation through Regulations.gov (or a similar government platform):
- Your submission becomes part of a permanent, public government record. Federal agencies are generally required to make submitted comments — including your name and any other information you choose to include in the comment — publicly viewable and searchable, potentially indefinitely.
- RepReach does not control how the receiving agency processes, publishes, retains, or removes your submission. Requests to withdraw or redact a comment must be directed to the agency, not to us.
- We recommend against including sensitive personal information (such as your home address, phone number, or financial details) in the body of any comment you submit.
- RepReach acts only as a drafting and submission tool; we do not review, edit, or endorse the content of comments you choose to submit.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only:
- With the Service Providers listed above, solely as needed to operate the Service
- With the recipient agency if you choose to submit a public comment
- If required by law, legal process, or a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public — including reporting credible threats made using the App to law enforcement
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you beforehand
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete locally-stored data at any time via the App's Clear Profile function or by deleting the App. Data stored in Supabase that is tied to your device (such as tracked bills) can be cleared the same way. Aggregate or de-identified civic data (e.g., cached bill text) that isn't tied to you is retained to keep the Service functional for all users.
Your Rights
- Access & Correction: View or update your information anytime in App settings.
- Deletion: Use Clear Profile or delete the App.
- State-specific rights: Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah may have additional rights under state privacy laws (e.g., to know, delete, or opt out of certain processing). Contact us to exercise these rights; because we don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, most of these rights are already satisfied by default.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information stored via our Service Providers, and rely on your device's own security (passcode, biometrics, encryption) for locally-stored data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
RepReach is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
